Background of the Incident and Settlement with Hutchins’ Family.
After the shooting, Baldwin stated that the gun had misfired. And that he had not pulled the trigger or was aware that it was loaded. In October, the actor and the film’s production company reached a settlement for an undisclosed amount with the family of Ms. Hutchins. It is after her husband filed a wrongful death lawsuit alleging violations of industry standards. The film production was scheduled to resume this year with Mr. Hutchins as an executive producer.
