A meeting was held on 28 July 2021. Covid-19 situation was discussed briefly. As corona has different ratio of positive cases in different provinces so the decision regarding opening closing is put forward to provincial governments.
Later on, on 29 July 2021 a notification bearing instructions of cleanliness was issued regarding school opening in Punjab from 02.08.2021.

Following are the some basic Corona & Dengue SOPs to be followed in schools & Homes
DENGUE INSTRUCTIONS IN ALL SCHOOLS BEFORE OPENING OF SCHOOLS BY GOVERNMENT
Schools will be re-opened on 02.08.2021 after summer vacations. In this regard, please ensure the following necessary measures as prescribed in dengue SOPs before opening the schools.
Cleanliness of premises
Cleanliness of toilets
Cleanliness of water tanks
Cleanliness of roof tops
Cleanliness of playgrounds
Display of Dengue related Banners, Posters & Charts
Grass Cutting from lawns and grounds
Removal of junks/ debris
Removal of stagnant water
Plugging of water leakages
Identification of dengue larvae and larviciding
All kinds of spray are Banned
All the DEOs, Dy. DEOs, AEOs and Head of schools were requested to ensure compliance of the above said directions in letter and spirit, as well as uploading snaps showing anti-dengue activities through android phones/tabs on dengue dashboard of PITB.
COVID 19 INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL SCHOOLS
Wear face mask at all public places
Wash hands for atleast 20 second after getting back from outside
Cover your face while coughing of sneezing
Avoid close contact with people and maintain 6 feet distance
Stay home if you have common flue or respiratory symptoms
